The admission fee allows you access to the event and MOST of the activities. Food and drinks are an additional charge, but most vendors offer a sample menu for a reduced price. Also, enjoy entertainment from our 

 

\\WEATHER PREPARATION

Cool Clothing, Umbrellas, Light Jackets

The Fall weather in the Houston Metropolitan Area can range from very cool to very warm, so you will want to dress comfortably (based on the weather forecast). Merchandise is available if you need cooler or warmer clothing while enjoying the event.

 

Sunscreen

Bring along sunscreen for yourself and your family, as well as sunglasses. The festival grounds will have some shaded areas, but the sun will most likely be out in most areas!

 

Comfy Shoes

Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be dancing away the night during the performances, standing, and walking from area to area can be tiring.

 

Hydrate

You will want to keep hydrated. Beverages are available throughout the festival grounds. Make sure to bring your driver’s license if you choose to purchase alcoholic beverages. We do ID! What is not allowed at the event?

\\PARKING

Plenty of parking is available Downtown and around Jones Plaza.  Please click here for more information.

 

 

\\ADA

Handicap parking is available around Jones Plaza and the Downtown area. The Festival grounds have several wheelchair-accessible points. Though we do not offer a service that brings festival-goers to and from areas, we encourage all patrons to enjoy "The Second Line Festival". Wheelchairs and Medical Scooters are permitted.

 

\\ATM's

ATMs are available on event grounds. 

 

 

\\FOOD 

The food areas are sure to please any palette looking for Louisiana cuisine, to simple carnival foods. So, treat yourself to refreshing beverages and the various delicious foods that will be available, with menus for all ages.

\\TICKET AVAILABILITY ON SITE

Yes, tickets are available on-site at the time of the event. 

 

\\WRISTBANDS

Please keep your wristband on your wrist at all times.  Your wristband allows you access to RE-Entry. 

 

\\RE-ENTRY 

Re-entry is allowed as long as the guest is wearing a wristband in the appropriate place. 

 

\\ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Alcoholic beverages are served but ALL patrons are required to present a Valid ID.   Please have a valid ID ready to present. 

 

 

\\INCLEMENT WEATHER

Our events are rain or shine.  If the event is canceled due to inclement weather, a new event date will be issued. NO Refunds will be issued but the ticket holder will receive free admission to the next event.   

 

\\THESE ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED

Carts, pets, personal tents, glass, metal poles, shade canopies, beach or pole-style umbrellas, coolers, ice chests, outside beverages, and food are not allowed.

 

Weapons, illicit drugs, and other contraband are strictly prohibited
